The 0-0 draw against Middlesbrough cost them dearly as if they had won that they would be sitting in top place rather than Liverpool.
Most of the Gunners success has been due to the form of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Özil . Over the international break, Sanchez picked up an injury tear in his quadricep. The player has said he is willing to risk further injury by taking part in the game against Man U. Wenger may choose to start him on the beach and only risk him if needed.
